The Shaanxi environmental
information center is a comprehensive Affiliated Institutions
formed by compensative environmental information, management,
service, application and broadcast. Pretty former soft and hard
equipments and high timber procession are involved in environmental
protection system. It is a powerful science-supporting department
in the provincial environmental management works, the comprehensive
center of the provincial environmental data and has an important
effect on the provincial digitization work.
The center possesses all kinds of server, apple video work station,
figure work station, scanner, large-scale machine of plotting,
colorful laser and inkjet printer, overhead projector, numeral
camera and pickup camera and so on. The Arc/Gis Geographical
Information System, the Video Compilation System and Figure Disposal
System, etc. are equipped. There are 7 missionaries in the center,
3 of which are environmental information management advanced
engineer, 2 of which are engineer. All the educational background
of the missionaries is over the under graduation
The center has the ability of the construction and exploitation
of network and website; be familiar with the exploitation and
conformation of information management system; be able to develop
different types exploitation work of data-base application management
system; have professional GIS system data disposal, special chart
compilation and execution, the condition of application and exploitation;
provide mature settlement project of system; at the same time,
be able to generalize application of different types, develop
and execute video application of different types, hold computer
application and application training class of different types.
The center separately completed the satellite network construction
of Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Bureau and supporting the
satellite network construction of the directly under bureau;
possess separate website of Shaanxi LAN construction; exploit
the GIS compensative demand and analysis system of Shaanxi water
environment, the content management system of Shaanxi environmental
protection website, the electronic government affair system and
the water function area division data system; undertake the water
function areas division project; responsible the collection￠processing
of video frequency information; helping with the discussion of
the project in SEPB; holding several environmental management
internet applications and computer application training; the
appointed section to software and hardware of SEPB
In the day of science developing as quickly as flying, according
to the object that knowledge is infinite, all the employee of
the center voluntarily join the advanced technology training;
ceaselessly enhance the operation level of themselves; enlarge
the operation field; develop environmental protection science
research; serve the environmental protection career and the whole
